Day 2: God

θεός — theos

A transcendent being who exercises extraordinary control in human affairs or is responsible for the bestowal of unusual gifts: God.

Isn’t is a comfort to know that the world didn’t pop into existence of its own accord, it wasn’t even an accident of some kind? This world and all that is in it was planned and created by God and even now it’s only here because he continues to sustain it.

Creation began with him, exists for him, and is upheld by his good pleasure? Why? Because he’s God.

As we progress through this extraordinary tale of time and eternity, wrath and redemption, you will be prone to forget the main character in it all: God.

He planned it, he made it happen, and he is the hero of the Epic Saga of Grace. It was written for his glory alone.
